In my journey as a Hawkes Bay family portrait photographer, I've earned recognition from fellow professionals for my work's classic and timeless qualities, as well as its ability to evoke strong emotions and foster genuine connections. I take immense pride in using only the finest materials, ensuring that each photograph stands the test of time, becoming cherished heirlooms for generations to come.

To me, portrait photography goes beyond capturing moments; it's about revealing the essence of the subject. I invest time in understanding each individual, their stories, dreams, and hopes. I create a comfortable environment where people can be themselves, allowing their true selves to shine in the final portraits.

Craftsmanship is crucial to me, so I pay meticulous attention to every aspect of the photographic process, from selecting top-notch equipment to using high-quality printing and framing materials.

Preserving emotions, memories, and experiences in each portrait is my ultimate goal. I believe these photographs will become treasured family heirlooms, passed down through generations, connecting them to their ancestors and preserving their stories for years to come.

Beyond awards and recognition, what truly matters is the emotional impact my portraits have on people. Seeing the joy, nostalgia, or pride in the eyes of my clients makes my work fulfilling and inspires me to continue this journey.

In the ever-changing world of photography, my commitment remains steadfast – creating timeless portraits that touch hearts, forge connections, and capture the essence of humanity, one photograph at a time.

This is where we can discuss your requirements from how you and your family wish to look and feel in your portraits, through to what will suit your walls in theme and size.

You will arrive at the studio or we meet at a location. If required, hair and makeup can work their magic. Shoot times vary depending on who, and how we are shooting, but my aim is to provide a range of options for you to choose your final art pieces from.
