As a Hawke's Bay photographer, I had the unique opportunity to conduct an underwater photoshoot for The Reid Vodka, a campaign that demanded both technical expertise and artistic vision. The shoot took place in Nelson and featured a former member of New Zealand's synchronised swimming team as the model. The shoot required me to be submerged in scuba gear for nearly five hours, while a spotter diver ensured the safety of the model throughout the process. The model was captured floating underwater in a serene and beautiful pose, exuding a sense of tranquillity and sophistication. The imagery reflected the smooth, refined experience that Reid Vodka offers, marrying the visual themes of water, elegance, and indulgence.

The final photograph was prominently featured as a full-page advertisement in Cuisine magazine, captivating audiences with its ethereal beauty and resonating with the campaign's core message.
