District  Lodge Celebrations and Gala Dinner Event

I documented the district Lodge's celebration across two days, a significant milestone in its history. As an event photographer, it was important to capture this occasion with the care and craft that a century and a half of heritage deserves.

The celebration took in a full programme across the two days, from a relaxed drinks evening and group photographs of members through to a formal gala dinner and awards ceremony. Each part of the occasion called for a different approach, from candid, easy imagery early on to more considered, formal coverage as the evening built toward its close.

From the formalities to the quieter moments between, this project was about preserving a piece of history for the generations who'll look back on it, a genuine honour to be trusted with an occasion this significant.
