Saplings Early Childhood Centre, Taupō

A newly built early childhood centre in the heart of Taupō, designed to feel less like an institution and more like a second home. As a Taupō photographer who works across commercial and interior photography, I was commissioned to capture the space ahead of Saplings' opening, photographing the warmth, natural light and considered design choices that set this Taupō early childhood centre apart.

Projects like this are a good example of what interior and commercial photography can do for a business before it even opens its doors. Every shot was about showing the space the way it actually feels to walk through, from the way the light moves through the rooms to the small design details that make Saplings stand out in Taupō's early childhood market.
